Park at the entrance to Hubbard Fishing Cabin and go onto the BLM cabin's property through the gate entrance on the left. Find the fishers trail to the left of the cabin and run the trail to the Savis Creek rec area and cross the bridge over the Yampa. Follow the road to the Savis Creek trail head (both the river and creek are fishable from the car to the trailhead). There is no fishable water after the trailhead for the next 1.7 miles. You can access Sarvis creek at the bridge

Rainbow, brook, and brown trout on the Yampa for the first half mile. Brook trout in Sarvis near the trailhead and at the bridge. Sarvis creek is bushy, so a smaller rod is best.
